Stoneholm Building

August 6th, 2007
The Stoneholm sits on a hill in Brookline. It was built in 1907 and has been noted as one of the pearls of Baroque architecture in Greater Boston.

The construction followed the trend of apartment buildings in vogue between 1890 and 1920 in the Back Bay and also in Harvard Square, Cambridge.

The building was converted to condominiums in 1997. Last year one of the Stoneholm condos (1800 sf, two bedroom, two bath, two fireplaces plus parking space) was listed at $900,000.

Nazzareno, se stai leggendo, mi piacerebbe moltissimo sapere cosa pensi di questo edificio.
